Globally leading and locally rooted, where research, commercialisation, and the real-world application of life sciences come together

Collaborating with our partners at Metro Dynamics and Pier 22 Group, we supported the various occupiers on campus to define a new vision and purpose that would guide development for the next 30 years. This is a uniquely interesting challenge, as the majority of occupiers are not landowners and do not control any adjacent assets that could support future growth.

But the ultimate success of the campus, both in terms of its crucial role in advancing life sciences and providing lifesaving care to those in need, depends to a huge extent on the continued success of its anchor institutions and commercial businesses.

We helped the campus define and promote its vision for growth, to establish itself as a functioning entity that could effectively represent its interests and to then work to secure those interests with key stakeholders.

Our team continues to support the campus as it moves to negotiate policy controls and development agreements that will help to ensure that its vision is realised, and its future partners are able to benefit from the potential partnering with one of the UK’s pre-eminent life sciences clusters.
